Has your child attended HAF before?
Changes to Free School Meals (FSM) from September 2026 mean that some children who have previously qualified for a funded HAF place may no longer be eligible. Although FSM has been expanded to all children in households receiving Universal Credit, HAF-funded places remain available only to children who are eligible for benefits-based Targeted Free School Meals (Targeted FSM) and certain other eligible groups. If you are unsure of your child’s FSM status or think it may be incorrect, please contact your school to check their eligibility.
