The Position

The Business Support Coordinator will play a key role in maintaining robust business administration systems to ensure all departments are fully supported and set for success. For the right candidate, seeking to build a long-term career in Business Administration and/or Office Management, there is genuine scope to transition the responsibilities of the role into a more senior permanent position as Personal Best grows.


The primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Effectively carry out general business administration and office management tasks
· Ensure all systems, processes and support tools are robust and fit-for-purpose, and lead on reviews to continually improve the organisation’s efficiency
· Provide strong support in key areas of the business such as staff administration, recruitment & policy adherence
· Work closely with the Managing Director and Department Managers on general business support systems and projects, where assigned 

Person Specification

Qualifications and Education

  • Must hold a minimum of 5 x GCSE’s (or equivalent) at grade A-C including Maths and English
  • Must be educated to degree level or hold a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Business Support, Senior Administration, Staff Recruitment or similar role
  • Skills, Knowledge and Experience
  • Experience in successfully holding key responsibilities and driving development of improved systems & processes within a main office, recruitment or similar dept.
  • Exceptional admin skills and maintaining efficient office systems, online & offline
  • Strong knowledge and experience of IT admin systems such as Microsoft Office, Google Workspace and/or other
  • Experience of working with diverse key stakeholders, both internal and external
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal

Wage:      £9.18 – £9.50 depending on experience

Contract Type:  School Holidays/Fixed Term

Hours:     Monday to Thursday  9:30-15:15

or           Monday to Friday  8:15 – 16:45

Leisure Centre Assistant – Overview

Hampshire and the wider world.
Our educational services are aimed at equipping young people with the right tools
for the future as well as broaden their horizons enabling them to be successful

and leisure provision offer people to engage in fun and positive activities to
benefit both their mental and physical well-being. Our desire is to give everyone

The Position
This exciting and diverse role is required to support both the customer service
and operational functions of Personal Best Leisure Centre and its portfolio. The
Customer Service and Leisure Centre Assistant will support Personal Best’s
clients at the centre, both on arrival and during their visits. They will help to grow
the revenues of all Personal Best’s propositions at the Mountbatten site as well
as being part of a team focused on making a meaningful and positive impact on
the local community and beyond.


The primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
– To assist in the daily operation of the site ensuring a safe, efficient and
customer orientated service is provided to all visitors.
– Deal with customer enquiries and promote/sell the Personal Best portfolio –
face-to-face and telephone
– Log all relevant information on administration platform and access throughout
opening hours, as and when required
– Oversee and monitor the Leisure Centre during opening hours
– Opening and locking up the School site
– Set up and removal of various sporting & school equipment
– To maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the site at all
times, undertake routine cleaning duties as required
– To carry out other duties as may be required to ensure the site operation is
properly maintained to provide total customer satisfaction.


Qualifications and Education
– Minimum of 5 GCSE’s or equivalent

– First Aid Qualification is desirable but not essential
– An enhanced DBS check will be carried out as part of this role
Skills and experience
– Experience of supporting or working with customers and willing to learn new
customer service techniques
– Experience of working in a sports, leisure or educational setting
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Competent use of and knowledge of basic IT systems (Microsoft Word)
– Basic knowledge of health and safety at work

Workshop Facilitator 

 

Overview

Position:  Workshop Facilitator 

Contract: Casual Contract/Flexible Hours

Salary: £20 per hour (including holiday pay) 

Typical Hours: Weekdays between 08:30-16:30 

 

The Position

We are offering an exciting opportunity to enthusiastic individuals who would love to deliver new, fun and engaging workshops/ activities to young people, either at our summer holiday camps or on a more regular basis supporting our programmes!  This is a flexible role which can be worked around studies or another job. 

As part of the role, you will be: 

  • Delivering new, fun and engaging workshops/ activities to young people 
  • Supporting the Personal Best Education Team in the construction of session plans
  • Responding efficiently and effectively to the needs of the young people you will be working with
  • Liaising with relevant staff members and Designated Safeguarding Lead to ensure young people’s wellbeing is supported during delivery.
  • Communicating effectively, clearly and in a timely fashion with Personal Best senior staff, team and venue staff to ensure a smooth running of the programme

We are specifically looking at individuals who are passionate in the following subject areas: 

  • Creative design
  • Art 
  • Science, technology, engineering and maths
  • Music or Music Production
  • Food and Nutrition
  • Teaching/Education

 

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

Position: Flexible Working

We have some fantastic opportunities for enthusiastic and engaging sports coaches to work with us,  delivering after school sports clubs to primary schools across Hampshire (primarily Eastleigh, Winchester, Andover and Romsey).

– You’ll be delivering sports coaching sessions to children aged 5+

– You’ll be preparing, delivering and reviewing sports sessions
