Hours:  Full Time/Part Time/Flexible

We are looking for a competent and enthusiastic HR and Business Support Administrator to join our team at Personal Best Education for a short term contract! This role can be flexible to fit around school hours, part-time hours, or on a full time basis. This is a 3-4 month fixed term contract, but there may be scope for an extension or for work in another area of the business for the right person. 

 

The purpose of the role will be to support the recruitment and human resources functions as well as supporting our project teams with customer service calls. 

 

You will be working within a team led by the Customer Services Team Leader and supported by a Human Resources professional who will provide guidance and support in your work. You’ll be working on the recruitment of seasonal staff and ensuring the processes are followed to safely recruit as well as supporting the customer service by taking incoming calls. This role would work well for someone who is interested in or is already working in Human Resources, Administration or Recruitment or has experience in either business, customer service or human resources administration.

The Position
This exciting and diverse role is required to support both the customer service
and operational functions of Personal Best Leisure Centre and its portfolio. The
Customer Service and Leisure Centre Assistant will support Personal Best’s
clients at the centre, both on arrival and during their visits. They will help to grow
the revenues of all Personal Best’s propositions at the Mountbatten site as well
as being part of a team focused on making a meaningful and positive impact on
the local community and beyond.


The primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
– To assist in the daily operation of the site ensuring a safe, efficient and
customer orientated service is provided to all visitors.
– Deal with customer enquiries and promote/sell the Personal Best portfolio –
face-to-face and telephone
– Log all relevant information on administration platform and access throughout
opening hours, as and when required
– Oversee and monitor the Leisure Centre during opening hours
– Opening and locking up the School site
– Set up and removal of various sporting & school equipment
– To maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the site at all
times, undertake routine cleaning duties as required
– To carry out other duties as may be required to ensure the site operation is
properly maintained to provide total customer satisfaction.


Qualifications and Education
– Minimum of 5 GCSE’s or equivalent

– First Aid Qualification is desirable but not essential
– An enhanced DBS check will be carried out as part of this role
Skills and experience
– Experience of supporting or working with customers and willing to learn new
customer service techniques
– Experience of working in a sports, leisure or educational setting
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Competent use of and knowledge of basic IT systems (Microsoft Word)

Overview

Position:  Workshop Facilitator 

Contract: Casual Contract/Flexible Hours

Salary: £20 per hour (including holiday pay) 

Typical Hours: Weekdays between 08:30-16:30 

 

The Position

We are offering an exciting opportunity to enthusiastic individuals who would love to deliver new, fun and engaging workshops/ activities to young people, either at our summer holiday camps or on a more regular basis supporting our programmes!  This is a flexible role which can be worked around studies or another job. 

As part of the role, you will be: 

  • Delivering new, fun and engaging workshops/ activities to young people 
  • Supporting the Personal Best Education Team in the construction of session plans
  • Responding efficiently and effectively to the needs of the young people you will be working with
  • Liaising with relevant staff members and Designated Safeguarding Lead to ensure young people’s wellbeing is supported during delivery.
  • Communicating effectively, clearly and in a timely fashion with Personal Best senior staff, team and venue staff to ensure a smooth running of the programme

Overview

Position: Flexible Working 

Wage: £10.00 – £15.00 ph dependant on experience/qualifications

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am and 4:30pm

Days are flexible to fit around your personal studies/other employment/commitments 

 

The Role 

We have some fantastic opportunities for enthusiastic and engaging sports coaches to work with us,  delivering after school sports clubs to primary schools across Hampshire (primarily Eastleigh, Winchester, Andover and Romsey).

 

What will you be doing?

– You’ll be delivering sports coaching sessions to children aged 5+

– You’ll be preparing, delivering and reviewing sports sessions

– You’ll be promoting active healthy lifestyles

– You’ll be working collaboratively with fellow sports coaches

– You’ll be maintaining good communication with schools, pupils and colleagues 

 

Essential Skills and requirements:

  • Knowledge and passion for sports coaching
    · Excellent organisational, planning and time management skills
    · Strong verbal communication skills
    · Level 1 sports coaching qualification

 

Desirable skills and requirements:
· Previous experience of working with children
· Level 2 sports coaching qualification
· Current First Aid qualification

– Driving Licence
· Competency in using IT systems (Microsoft office)
