Overview

Position: Flexible Working 

Wage: £13.00 – £17.00 ph dependant on experience/qualifications

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am and 4:30pm

Days are flexible to fit around your personal studies/other employment/commitments 

The Role 

We have some fantastic opportunities for enthusiastic and engaging sports coaches to work with us,  delivering after school sports clubs to primary schools across Hampshire (primarily Eastleigh, Winchester, Andover and Romsey).

What will you be doing?

– You’ll be delivering sports coaching sessions to children aged 5+

– You’ll be preparing, delivering and reviewing sports sessions

– You’ll be promoting active healthy lifestyles

– You’ll be working collaboratively with fellow sports coaches

– You’ll be maintaining good communication with schools, pupils and colleagues 

Essential Skills and requirements:

  • Knowledge and passion for sports coaching
    · Excellent organisational, planning and time management skills
    · Strong verbal communication skills
    · Level 1 sports coaching qualification

Desirable skills and requirements:
· Previous experience of working with children
· Level 2 sports coaching qualification
· Current First Aid qualification

– Driving Licence
· Competency in using IT systems (Microsoft office)

Wage:

Junior Coach – £13 p/h including holiday pay

  • Newly qualified in Multi-Skills Level 2
  • Level 1 Coaching qualification in specific sport
  • Less than 2 years experience

Intermediate Coach – £15 p/h including holiday pay

  • Multi-Skills Level 2
  • Level 2 in specific sport
  • More than 2 years experience

Senior Coach – £17 p/h including holiday pay

  • Multi-Skills Level 2
  • PESS Level 3
  • Level 3 in specific sport

Position: Casual Football Coach

Salary: £5.98 – £14.98 per hour (including holiday pay) depending on age and experience

 The Position

This exciting opportunity is required to support Personal Best’s Football delivery and strategy.

  • To support, lead and deliver on football coaching sessions for children aged 4-8 years of age.
  • To support, lead, supervise and manage any concerns; escalating if required, in line with Personal Best policies and procedures.
  • Liaise with relevant staff members and Designated Safeguarding Lead to ensure young people’s well-being is supported at all times.
  • To communicate effectively, clearly and in a timely fashion with Personal Best senior staff.
  • Ensure all sites/areas comply with health & safety measures as set out in the delivery framework.

Position: Fitness Instructor

Contract: Casual

Salary: £24.21 per hour (inc. holiday pay)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Fitness Instructor to join our team. As a Fitness Instructor, you will be responsible for leading fitness classes and providing guidance and motivation to participants.


Responsibilities:

– Conduct fitness classes, including but not limited to cardio, strength training, and flexibility exercises

– Create and deliver workout routines that cater to the needs and goals of participants

– Demonstrate proper exercise techniques and provide modifications as needed

– Educate participants on the benefits of each exercise and promote a safe and healthy workout environment

– Monitor participants’ progress and provide feedback and encouragement

– Maintain a clean and organized fitness area

Requirements:

– Certification in fitness instruction or related field

– Previous experience in sports coaching or personal training is preferred

– Excellent communication skills to effectively instruct and motivate participants

– Ability to adapt workouts for individuals with different fitness levels or physical limitations

– Passion for health, wellness, and helping others achieve their fitness goals
